Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers: Computer Class

The class Computers-2nd Step will be held at the LBCC Lebanon and the Sweet Home Centers.

Class is designed for students who already know basic computer navigation, and who would like to move on to the next level.

This four-week class will be held at the LBCC Lebanon Center on Wednesdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Feb. 6, and at the LBCC Sweet Home Center on Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting Feb. 14. Cost is $45 plus a $3 fee.

 Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to fees.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. Community Art classes in Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon

A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
