Benton Center Acoustic Showcase Presents Shy Shy & Gary

Shy Shy and Gary will perform at the LBCC Benton Center Acoustic Showcase on Friday, Oct. 19 from noon to 1 p.m. in the center’s student lounge, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis.

High school sweethearts Shy and Gary Nolde have been singing their style of American folk and blues for about 50 years. 

“Through the years we've seen it all, had it all, spent it all, known our share of joy and pain, sunshine and rain. In other words, we're playing music together and having the time of our lives,” said the Nolde’s.

The Benton Center Acoustic Showcase is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the LBCC Benton Center at 541-757-8944.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
