LBCC Quilters Workshop and Knitting/Crocheting Workshop

Improve your knitting and crocheting techniques in the Knitting/Crocheting Workshop offered at the LBCC Lebanon Center this term.

This 10-week class meets on Tuesdays from 9 to 10:50 a.m. beginning Sept. 25 at the Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. Cost is $69 plus a $3 fee.

Also this term, a Quilter's Workshop class will be held through the LBCC Sweet Home Center beginning Oct. 4.

Learn how to creating a pattern called Kismet. This four-week class meets on Thursdays from 7 to 8:50 p.m. at Sweet Home High School, room SHHS-B6, 1661 Long St. Cost for this non-credit class is $39 plus a $2 fee.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
