Wilderness Survival Class


The class Wilderness Survival will be offered through LBCC Albany Community Education on Saturday, June 30.

Learn how to be fully prepared in the unpredictable outdoors. The class is designed for the backpacker, hiker, hunter, ATV’er or back country traveler. 

Review the basics of equipment, clothing selection and the skills needed to prepare for travel and emergency situations, and learn the basic planning elements to consider in advance of your journey outdoors.

This one-day class will meet Saturday, June 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. in LBCC’s McKenzie Hall, room MKH-209, LBCC, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW, Albany.

Cost is $39 with a $2 lab fee. Residents aged 62 or older pay 75 percent tuition. Discount does not apply to material or lab fees.
