Benton Center offers Better Bones and Balance Instructor Training

An instructor training workshop will be held for those interested in teaching the Better Bones and Balance fitness class offered through OSU Extension Service and the LBCC Benton Center.

The two-day workshop will be held September 15 and 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Benton Center. The workshop will cover the Better Bones and Balance fitness program developed by the OSU Bone Research Lab.

Registration includes workshop materials, lunch and refreshment for both days. Deadline to register is Monday, August 15. Cost for this two-day workshop is $199 plus the cost for the licensing fee.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
