LBCC’s Lebanon Center and Sweet Home Centers will offer hands-on Photoshop Elements classes for editing your digital photographs.

Photoshop Elements I will help you learn how to correct exposure, contrast and color problems. Learn how to remove from or add to a photo; resize, print and save images; and prepare images for email and the Web. Discover how to organize and back-up all your treasured photos with confidence. Computer experience is recommended.

This five-week class will meet on Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. beginning March 31 at the LBCC Lebanon Center. Cost for this class is $54 plus a $3 fee.

A Photoshop Elements III class will help you learn advanced techniques in Adobe Photoshop Elements. Learn how to use the histogram and how to edit pictures in the RAW format. Learn techniques with layers, removing noise, dodging and burning and sharpening. This class will also cover creating beautiful panoramic photos and creating fancy watermarks to identify your photos. Learn more about printing, color management and creating an online gallery for the Web. Prerequisites include Photoshop Elements I and II.

This five-week class will meet on Tuesdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. beginning March 29 at the LBCC Sweet Home Center. Cost for this class is $54 plus a $3 fee.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence. This one-day class meets Thursday, April 7 from 1 to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way, and Friday, April 15 from 1 to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 Polk Ave, Corvallis, and Saturday, April 16 from 10 to 12:50 p.m. at the LBCC Albany Campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW.
